Since Facebook launched Timeline earlier this year, brands, public figures and individuals have been hustling to reconstruct their histories for their fans' and friends' perusal. This can be a laborious process in the case of, say, a football star like Tom Brady or a 155-year old publication like The Atlantic, requiring the scanning and backdating of hundreds of archival items.
